The Quarter Mile Project
April 9-May 9, 2025
The Quarter Mile Project is a collection of 15,840 quarters via donation cans placed at local businesses. Donations can also be made via PayPal and Venmo, and any electronic donations will be converted to quarters.
Why that many quarters? 15,840 quarters will stretch a quarter (1/4) mile and raise $3,960 for In Love and Song.
All funds raised during this campaign will be put toward In Love and Song's Tumor Tails fundraising effort. If the full quarter mile of quarters is collected, we'll be nearly halfway to our goal!
Conceived by local high school student, Jaime Myers, quarters will be collected at multiple locations in Central New Jersey until May 9th when the project culminates in an event at Lebanon Township Memorial Park in Califon, New Jersey, which will include performances by local students from the music program at her school and a ceremonial dumping of all of the cans of quarters collected!
